Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Volunteer Editor‑Contributing Writer at True Crime Story Magazine. The role involves crafting and editing true crime stories, conducting research, collaborating with the editorial team, and ensuring content meets our quality standards. Responsibilities also include proofreading, fact‑checking, and contributing to our mission of raising awareness about domestic violence.

Qualifications

• Writing, creative writing, and research skills
• Editing and proofreading skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Passion for true crime and domestic violence awareness
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field is a plus
• Experience in article writing, particularly in the true crime genre, is beneficial
