COMPENSATION : Starting at $27 / hr+ (Depending on Experience)

SHIFT : Shifts typically start at 7am in Hastings (some flexibility is required - see below)

Iron Eagle specializes in industrial services, focusing on industrial cleaning, emergency spill response, and waste management.

We are expanding our operations and seeking experienced Field Technicians to join our team in Hastings, MN!

Overview

This role involves intense physical demands, including performing cleaning and decontamination tasks in confined spaces.

You'll operate diverse equipment, tools, and machinery in environments containing hazardous materials, necessitating the use of comprehensive HazMat personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License and Health Card (or willing to obtain one)
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces in full HazMat PPE

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Report to our Hastings location every morning prior to being sent to various scheduled work at client locations across the Twin Cities Metro area
• Carry out site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling
• Assist in the loading / unloading of heavy and light-duty trucks / equipment at client locations, including Vac Trucks, Transports, Rolloffs, etc.
• Correctly use and maintain diverse personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective gear for skin, face, hands, and feet in multiple configurations
• Work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and all weather conditions
• Function in environments with potential exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some hazardous, toxic, or corrosive
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Adhere to all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations
• Operate vehicles safely, following U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements

Shifts

Standard shift time is 7am, however, due to the nature of our business some flexibility is required (there will be occasional start times before or after 7am.

You will be notified as such).

You are guaranteed FT hours

Travel

Due to the nature of our business in emergency response, you can expect to travel approximately 15% of the year

On Call

Due to the nature of our business in industrial services, you are expected to adhere to our On-Call Rotation Schedule, which requires you to commit to at least 1 On-Call week per month (Thursday - Thursday)
