SALARY RANGE : $35-42 / hr+ (Note : some projects include prevailing wage rates)

As we expand our operations, we're seeking an experienced HYDROBLAST FIELD SUPERVISOR to join our team in St. Paul, MN!

OVERVIEW

The Hydro Blast Field Supervisor will lead and manage multiple hydro blasting crews in performing high-pressure water blasting, cutting, and industrial cleaning services. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in hydro blasting operations, crew management, and equipment operation. The supervisor will ensure safe and effective completion of projects at industrial facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position involves supervising the operation and offloading of high-pressure water blasting pumps and coordinating complex multi-crew operations.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise multiple hydro blasting crews, providing coaching, development, and training for all team members in accordance with company and client policies
  • Oversee crew performance, attendance, and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
  • Ensure proper operation of all high-pressure water blasting equipment and enforce OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of hydro blasting pumps including 10K, 20K, and 40K PSI systems
  • Manage the setup, operation, and offloading of high-pressure water blasting equipment
  • Coordinate hydro cutting operations and specialized cleaning projects
  • Oversee vacuum services and liquid waste management operations
  • Plan and execute equipment load-outs for hydro blasting jobs, ensuring all necessary equipment is available for safe and effective project completion
  • Conduct thorough pre-job inspections of work sites and equipment before commencing operations
  • Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all required safety documentation
  • Maintain regular communication and provide project updates to clients
  • Supervise equipment maintenance activities including servicing, greasing, and general upkeep
  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of company equipment including pressure washing and cab cleaning
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and job sites
  • Coordinate equipment returns and PPE management between jobs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of hydro blasting crew supervision experience required
  • Extensive experience in high-pressure water blasting operations, hydro cutting, and equipment offloading
  • Proven track record managing hydro blasting crews in industrial settings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for both internal team management and external client relations
  • Knowledge of hydro blasting equipment, safety procedures, and industry best practices
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL highly preferred but not required)
  • Ability to travel for out-of-town projects
  • Experience working at industrial facilities and refineries
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and be available for emergency response
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as needed
  • Ability to work 12-16 hour shifts in both indoor and outdoor environments as needed
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physically capable of performing all assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
  • Physical ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, and kneel as required for job tasks
  • Stamina to work long shifts in various weather conditions and industrial environments
