Calcium+Company is seeking a creative to join our Copy team, headquartered in Philadelphia, this Fall. This co-op will provide you with the opportunity to observe and learn the workings and daily activities of a growing, dynamic advertising agency.
You will work closely with the Copy Supervisor.
Key Job Responsibilities
As an intern, you will assist with the following :
- Collaborate with the Art team to solidify the creative process and work with strategy to align brand messages.
- Understand the healthcare space and how to write thought-provoking copy that inspires doctors and patients.
- Create a manuscript by working within the Ca+Co template and the parameters of a project brief, asking questions where necessary.
- Self-edit by reviewing your writing for clarity
- Hone your presentation skills
- Receive and synthesize constructive, creative feedback.
- Master the routing process, implementing changes as needed, and keeping projects moving.
- Collect research using reputable sources and how to apply them to bolster the messages you create
- Annotate and submit messaging for legal review using Veeva
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Full-time rising junior or rising senior, currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year College or University studying Advertising, Creative Writing, Communications, or similar field
- Strong organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about marketing and digital strategy, knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Highly collaborative; team player
- Self-starter; able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities based on Company and client needs
- Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team and, ultimately, the work
