We are seeking an experienced ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) manager to join our E-commerce supply chain compliance team in the United States.

As an ESG Expert, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise in integrating ESG principles into our organization's operations, policies, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal team members to implement and optimize the E-commerce supply chain ESG strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis on ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to debate which impacts current and future TikTok Shop E-commerce business strategies.
• Identify and assess potential ESG risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and continual improvements.
• Support E-commerce ESG compliance, including ESG metrics definition, relevant ESG disclosures, ESG claims, and supporting internal governance structures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operational practices.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government, non-governmental organizations, and industry peers, to share ESG progress and best practices.

Represent TikTok Shop at ESG industrial meetings, events, conferences and expert panels.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field such as Business, Environmental Science, or Sustainability.
• 5 years experience in in ESG or related fields, with a demonstrated understanding of ESG frameworks and principles.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex research and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Strategic thinker, strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• An authentic interest in building a strong relationship with your teammates and external stakeholders, as well as a willingness to jump into tasks with a positive and can-do attitude.
