Ensuring Chart’s Success
The Senior Project Manager performs a variety of advanced project management and engineering tasks related to water treatment projects, both North America and international for Chart Water businesses.
This role is the lead interface with partners, installation contractors, and engineering / design firms. This role will contribute to projects applying Chart Water's technologies for potable water, industrial process water, and groundwater remediation projects.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be
- Prepare technical cost proposals and project scope.
- Write and compile design submittals and O&M manuals.
- Manage projects to schedule and budget.
- May provide technical sales support in preparing bids, project development, design, and implementation of new treatment opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary technical review teams. Act as a liaison with boards, committees, and commissions.
Your Education Should Be
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or engineering.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Your Professional Experience Should Be
- A minimum of 6 years of project management experience.
- Will be expected to develop a working knowledge of packaged potable, industrial or groundwater treatment systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers, engineering, sales, etc.
- Practical experience with variety of water treatment system design and operations, a plus.
- PMP or other related certifications, highly desirable.
- International project management experience, a plus.
