This role involves overseeing the strategic implementation and maintenance of our project management software, ClickUp, across all company departments in support of our Chief Strategy and Product Officer.
During the implementation, we will need to train and support each department. We will specifically need to support our marketing department and may need to manually migrate tasks and dependencies.
In addition, this person will manage additional 3rd party integrations like AirTable and ZenDesk liaison with our IT department and configure existing projects and workflows to ensure minimal disruption.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills. This candidate will need to distill complex workflows and strategy into digestible bites.
The Senior Project Manager will also mentor each department's designed project manager and ensure successful project delivery from initiation to close.
CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead and manage multiple Strategic projects.
Employ Agile methodologies to ensure efficient project execution, acting as both Scrum Master and Product Owner when necessary.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical, operational, and business stakeholders, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior project managers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and documentation.
Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant compliance, safety, and regulatory standards.)
Up to 10% travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the IT sector.
Proven experience with Agile methodologies, including roles as Scrum Master and Product Owner.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior project managers.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
PREFERRED SKILLS :
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency with project management software and tools.
Experience working in a remote team environment.
Flexibility and ability to pivot when business needs change.
