The Account Executive will provide essential support to the Sales Manager in managing all sales-related tasks within their designated territory.
The Account Executive will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions :
1. Administrative and Operational Support :
Documentation and Reporting :
- Assist in preparing and submitting weekly call reports and sales recaps.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and outcomes.
Sample Management :
- Process and track sample orders for clients, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain inventory of sample materials and coordinate restocking as needed.
Sales Collateral :
- Prepare and distribute sales collateral, including brochures, samples, and digital resources.
- Ensure that all sales materials are up-to-date and readily available.
2. Client Service and Relationship Management :
Client Communication :
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide assistance with product information and order status.
- Coordinate and schedule product presentations, meetings, and follow-ups.
Client Support :
- Deliver a high level of customer service, addressing client needs and concerns efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Calico's presence in client libraries.
3. Event Coordination and Participation :
- Event Preparation :
- Assist in preparing for industry trade events, regional trade shows, and networking events.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including booth setup, materials shipment, and travel arrangements.
On-Site Support :
Provide on-site support during trade shows and events, including setting up displays and engaging with attendees.
4. Sales and Territory Support :
Territory Analysis :
Assist in conducting market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
Sales Support :
- Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing territory-specific sales plans.
- Assist in tracking sales targets and progress within the territory.
Requirements :
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of administrative or sales support experience; experience in the interior design or wallcovering industry is a plus.
- Attitude : Upbeat, energetic, and a can-do attitude.
- Work Environment : Ability to work from a home office and showroom; hybrid work model.
- Team Player : Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Organizational Skills : Stellar organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Customer-Centric : Track record of providing fast response times and a customer-centric mentality.
- Communication : Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technology Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and well-versed with ERP / CRM systems.
- Travel : Some travel required for regular client visits, trade shows, and company events.
- Transportation : Reliable transportation and internet required.
