Opportunity : Pharmacy Technician
- Full Time Permanent
- Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Duties : count, package and label medication for inspection by pharmacist, fill routine orders for prescription pharmaceuticals, input patient and prescription data into the pharmacy computer system to process prescriptions and maintain patient profiles, maintain pharmacy automation machines, access medication history and communicate with providers and health care team through EHR systems, serve patients assist in ordering stocking and maintenance of inventory.
Assist pharmacist as directed.
Requirements :
- CA Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Highschool / GED and completion of pharmacy technician program
- 3 years of experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal Program
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology, pharmacy automation machines, blister packs, robotics and counting machine
- Pharmacy Software programs, Parata Max 2 and Kirby Lester counting machine
