Summary
Prestige Staffing is seeking dedicated Certified Medical Assistants to join a dynamic healthcare team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidates will possess a compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and proven experience in specialty practice or hospital settings. Responsibilities include patient rooming, injections, triage, EMR documentation, and providing excellent patient care. This role offers stable hours, great benefits upon permanent placement, and an opportunity to work in a supportive environment serving neurology, injury, and dementia patients.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant with 6-10 years of experience in specialty practice or hospital setting
- EMR proficiency (Athena experience a plus)
- Injections, patient triage, and exam rooming experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient check-out procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with personal injury and workers' comp patients is advantageous
- Cross-training in front desk duties, coding knowledge, and medical records management is helpful
