Position Summary :

As a House Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing leadership during off-hours, serving as a resource for staff, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Your responsibilities will include :

Supervising and mentoring nursing and support staff during your shift

Determining staffing levels and assignments based on various factors

Providing direct patient care as needed

Assisting staff with problem-solving and floating between teams

Taking patient assignments to meet staffing needs

Evaluating patient care effectiveness and addressing any issues

Responding to patient care complaints and managing them through established channels

Performing role-specific duties such as admissions, discharges, and transfers

Ensuring staff has the necessary equipment and supplies for safe patient care

Integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols

Creating an environment that fosters professional growth

Minimum Qualifications :

RN license in the state of KY or compact state

Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

BLS Certification (Required)

Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment
