Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Duration : 18 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU Location : Syracuse, NY 13210 Assignment Duration : 18 Weeks Shift : 12x3 (36 hours per week) Schedule : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (Night Shift) Responsibilities : Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU. Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Educate and support patients’ families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs. Respond quickly to emergency situations and manage life-support equipment when necessary. Requirements : Active RN License (New York State or compact license). Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required. Certifications : BLS, PALS (ACLS preferred).
