We're proud to have partnered up with Cheshire Mouldings who are seeking highly motivated, experienced warehouse operatives to join their operations on a permanent basis.

The Carney family founded the company with a simple idea in mind “To be the best” in 1988 in Warrington, where we stayed for 10 years before moving to what is now our Production site at Normans Road Sutton in 1998, Continued growth since 1998 has meant we have had to relocate our Main office and Warehouse to our current 81,000 sq ft site on Abbotsfield Road, Sutton in 2016.

In 2024 Cheshire Mouldings merged with Hawthorn Timber to form the Summit Timber Group with a combined annual turnover in excess of £80m.

Requirements

• 1+ years work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
• Proficient with using tools required for this position.
• Physically agile and dexterous.

You'll be working with timber which can mean moving and stacking up to 20KG of product. You'll be picking and packing orders on a daily basis that come in from our extensive client portfolio, taking note of inventory and reporting any shortages to management.

You'll ensure all items are correctly labelled with the shipping information, placed on to pallets and secured with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.

To ensure full compliance with safety regulations, work areas are to be kept clean, neat and well-organized - you'll undergo a thorough onboarding induction process to give you all the necessary guidance on site standards.

Salary up to £26,984 per year on full time hours.

20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
