Job Overview : We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Finance & Transactions team in Chicago, Dallas, or Washington, DC.
The successful candidate will have 4-7 years of commercial finance experience and will work on drafting and managing loan documents, participating in complex financial transactions, and collaborating with senior attorneys on client matters.

Duties :
- Draft loan documents and manage loan transactions for clients.
- Handle multiple commercial finance matters simultaneously.
- Work closely with shareholders and senior attorneys on complex finance transactions.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on various financial transactions and agreements.
- Participate in business development activities and client-facing engagements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to finance and transactions.
Requirements :
- 4-7 years of experience in commercial finance at a law firm.
- Strong experience in drafting loan documents and managing financial transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters concurrently.
- Admission to the Bar in good standing in Illinois, Texas, or Washington, DC (or in the process of obtaining admission).
Education :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
Certifications :
Active Bar license in the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, Texas, or District of Columbia).
Skills :
- Expertise in commercial finance law and transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
