Essential Functions
- Pre-staging of all set-up (tools, dies, chutes, clamping required, conveyors, etc.)
- Identifies, handles, and requisitions raw material.
- Load coils onto mandrel and feed through straightener.
- Support and assist Press Operators during changeovers.
- Continually organize die and coil storage area.
- Assist Team Members when coils need rebanding and taken off press.
- Reads, interprets, and complies with the Production Work Order.
- Initiate and sustain 5S opportunities
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Complies with all safety programs especially those related to production such as press guarding, lock / out, personal protective equipment, fire an electrical safety, and hearing conservation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk continuously throughout a ten (10) hour shift
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license and operate in a safe manner
- Experience : Six months experience is required.
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to handle material
- Willingness to be cross trained and learn all aspects of Bennett's warehouse procedures and processes
- Must be safety conscience at all times and exercise great care regarding the equipment, materials and the safety of others and oneself.
