We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Housing Hub in Saint Paul, MN.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our properties to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
- Perform general maintenance for all residential rental properties, hallways, buildings, and common areas
- After hours emergency on-call maintenance rotation required
- Utilize equipment properly and safely
- General knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations, training provided
- Report to supervisor of any pertinent resident or property issues or concerns
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation required
- Must be able to follow directions and learn quickly
- Must professionally represent Housing Hub at all times
- Must be proficient and comfortable with computer, tablet, smartphone tech
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
