The Job :

As a Director of Sales & Business Development you will :

  • Deliver business solutions that improve top and bottom-line performance
  • Contribute to cross-platform growth, leveraging retail knowledge, brand relationships and industry trends to identify and close new opportunities
  • Develop relationships with key leaders at client accounts to create profitable business and growth opportunities
  • Cross-sell value-add service to retail partners, understanding retail needs and The Stable's full portfolio
  • Partner with leadership to build new retail services or programs
  • Identify and create meaningful proposal for future retail partnerships
  • Contribute to annual strategic planning, including identify goals and success metrics
  • Partners with Stores leadership pillar to building on and execute growth plans for top tier clients
  • Provide coaching and development to the Sales team on client retention and growth plans and navigating challenges and obstacles.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of business development experience working within the merchandise function
  • 4+ years of experience leading and coaching teams

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working with Target, Walmart, Amazon or similar retailers, including system, reports and structural knowledge
  • Outstanding communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships
  • Action and detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities
  • You show initiative and move quickly to solve challenges and obstacles
  • You take pride in doing awesome work
  • You thrive in undefined situations
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
