- NICU experience preferred (Level II NICU - Special Care Nursery) License : Required prior to start date Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP;
- ACLS preferred Must-Have : Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery and postpartum care experience; Level 2 nursery experience;
willingness to work every third weekend with a total of 4 weekend shifts per contract. Job Description : Admit and provide care for labor patients.
- Manage mother-baby couplets, with the ability to handle a 3 couplet assignment for a total of 6 patients.- Attend deliveries as a baby nurse and provide resuscitation and stabilization to the infant after delivery if needed.
- Triage 1-2 labor patients and manage labor patients with 1 : 1 acuity, including those with hypertension and insulin-dependent diabetes.
- Utilize special equipment such as Omnicell for medication, along with documentation and communication systems like Cerner and Powerchart Maternity.
- Complete a unit orientation consisting of 72 hours.- Required to wear navy blue scrubs.- Participate in call requirements as needed with no float requirements.

The residential setup includes various private and shared units with shared bathrooms and common living areas. Smoke-free environment.
Please ensure to have necessary licenses active by the start date. Candidates must live 50 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
Previous Cerner experience is not required, though training is not provided onsite.
