Quality Assurance Coding Consultant

A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Coding Consultant- Multispecialty.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance reviews / audits of internal coding staff and provide appropriate feedback

Promote consistency and accuracy in coding practices through chart reviews and education

Conduct onboarding and orientation quality reviews and provide ongoing education to staff

Required Qualifications

Current AHIMA or AAPC coding certification(s)

3-4 years of experience in coding / auditing CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCs

At least 3 years of experience in E / M and oncology coding

Understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and disease processes

Access to high-speed internet and a workstation
