About the Job

As the CEO, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the growth strategy for our SaaS-based B2B enterprise product to be used by life sciences companies and clinical research organizations to streamline administrative and financial processes, leading to greater efficiencies, including faster and less costly clinical studies.

You will scale and grow OmniTrial by driving the sales motion, tapping into your own rolodex of small to mid-size pharma / biotech companies.

Understanding their workflows, pain, and needs, along with an understanding of the overall clinical research process is key.

You will work with OmniTrials product and engineering leaders to bring the completed MVP solution to market, support early customer success, and drive overall strategy and decision-making across all functional areas.

What you'll do :

  • Set the vision for the company and define the overall strategy from initial customer to scale
  • Lead and execute cross-functional strategy for the organization by developing a comprehensive framework for initiating and supporting enterprise relationships across key industry stakeholders, including pharma / biotechs, CROs, and sites
  • Drive operations, including full P&L and cash flow management
  • Implement the highest order KPIs and build the plan and team to measure, monitor, and improve them
  • Lead fundraising activities to support growth objectives in partnership with Redesign Health
  • Regularly partner and communicate with the Board of Directors, the Redesign Health team, and relevant investors
  • Structure a thoughtful organizational hiring plan and recruit, retain and develop world-class talent against that plan

What you'll need :

  • 10+ years of software / SaaS experience, most recently executive-level CEO / GM experience, in a fast-paced organization
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with and / or selling into Pharma / Biotech sponsors, CROs, sites, and / or vendors
  • Demonstrated success launching and operationalizing new products, markets, etc. in the clinical trial space in a 0-1 environment
  • Proven ability to successfully fundraise, as well as manage cash burn effectively

  • Financial Accountability. You have owned a P&L with responsibility for delivering against gross margins, unit economics, and day-to-day financial performance while adeptly conserving a limited cash runway .
