Senior Project Manager - Land Development

Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Land Development focused Senior Project Manager for its New Jersey locations. The qualified individual will have the responsibility to manage multi-disciplined land development design projects and assist the department manager in managing client relationships, developing and pursuing new clients and project opportunities, and managing multi-disciplined project staff.

Scope of work will include proposal preparation, land development planning and design, client and regulatory agency coordination, schedule and budget management, and marketing of land development services to current and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

• Marketing of land development services
• Proposal and presentations preparation
• Site planning and civil engineering design
• Regulatory permitting
• Expert testimony at public hearings
• Staffing coordination
• Project scheduling
• Project financial management
• Client relationship management

Required Skills & Required Experience

• BS in Civil Engineering required or releated
• At Least 15 years of directly related experience
• Professional licensure in NJ and or NY
• Self-motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage and work as part of multi-disciplined project teams
• Proven track record of maintaining an independent client following and strong client relationships.
• A thorough understanding of the land development design, permitting, and approval processes in NJ and ideally NY;
• Have demonstrated track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.
