Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from anaccredited School of Nursing
• Twelve monthsregistered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license should obtainpermanent license within 90 days. Compact license acceptableaccording to current Board of Nursing requirements
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support(BLS)
• Other credentials and certifications asdefined by unit / service line

Houston Methodist CypressHospital is scheduled to open in 2025 as the eighth hospital in theHouston Methodist system. Cypress which will be master planned for500 beds will be modeled after Houston Methodist West and HoustonMethodist The Woodlands hospitals.

It will be designed as thehospital of the future and will be a testament to Houston Methodistcommitment to innovation.
