Transformation Technical Program Manager, Director

In this role, the Corporate Transformation Program Director is chartered with driving transformation as part of the product-focused corporate priority programs.
This will include, but not limited to, setting best possible stretch goals for the programs, ensuring cross-functional alignment, partnering on detailed program plans where appropriate, as well as tracking progress against goals and surfacing issues to executive management.
The program manager will play a critical role in analyzing, formulating and evaluating opportunities for improvement both within their specific programs as well as across programs.
This individual is expected bring a strategic approach to working collaboratively in order to influence and drive program management acumen and discipline to the company.
This position requires strong leadership and influence skills and must be one who can reimagine how work gets done. Our strategic projects are global, enterprise wide, and cross-functional in nature.
A deep understanding of project management, process design and implementation, change management, and NPI processes is required.
This role also requires broad knowledge of the technology, products, customers, and markets associated with the networking industry.
This candidate must be able to think strategically and plan effectively, be hands on, detail and results oriented, and manage multiple tasks against aggressive deadlines.
Responsibilities :
- Lead strategic projects, from concept / definition through planning, execution, and delivery
- Ensure strategic projects are aligned with business requirements and are coordinated with key stakeholders
- Develop and measure strategic project success via KPIs
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement in all relevant business processes
- Drive the development and implementation of tools, systems and metrics to ensure initiatives are successful
Requirements : Experience
Experience
- 10 years of high-technology product development experience
- Career path demonstrating a consistent pattern of handling progressively more responsible work and critical and creative thinking
- Extensive knowledge of program management tools, metrics, and performance measurement techniques; knowledge of OKR methodology and tools a plus
- Experience with new product development frameworks
- Must have proven experience and ability in influencing business leaders toward change, business process alignment and improvement
- Experience in networking or telecommunications industry is a plus
Ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to land large-scale projects on time and on budget
- Outstanding creative problem solving and analysis skills ability to define and structure problems, collect and analyze data, and synthesis of defendable recommendations into an action plan
- Knowledge of multiple technology areas such as SW development and security and the ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies
- Ability to apply continuous improvement approaches
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to analyze & develop solutions for identified problems and to implement action plans
- Ability to work with Juniper customers, partners, and vendors
- Must exhibit a high degree of business maturity and ability to communicate effectively at senior management levels
- Knowledge of supporting applications (Agile PLM, SAP, Planview, JIRA, Clarity, Tabeleau) is a plus
Education and training
B.A. or B.S. in a business-related field; MBA is a plus
Minimum Salary : $172,500.00
Maximum Salary : $264,500.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $172,500.00 and $264,500.00 / year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
