About the Role :
Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Full-Time Wine and Spirits Manager-Head Clerk in North SF Bay area. The perfect candidate must have passion and experience in wine and specialty spirits as well as a desire to develop their product knowledge to provide a tailored shopping experience for all customers.
The perfect candidate will not only have a love of wine and spirits but have a passion for food and groceries. Local candidates only.
Essential Functions :
- Assist customers with questions while providing exceptional customer service.
- Remain current and continually expand knowledge of wine and spirits to inform and educate our guests as well as give suggestions and pairing ideas with food.
- Merchandise and maintain correct signage throughout the department.
- Oversee the processing and stocking of new shipments.
- Inventory control.
- Transporting merchandise from storage areas and sales floor.
- Assist in other departments if needed and cashiering.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail with a focus on wine / spirits
- Previous experience in grocery in a supervisory role.
- Previous cash handling skills a plus.
Competencies :
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to develop product knowledge and stay current.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Standing : Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking : Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching : Up to 4 hours per day.

Pay range :
$27.53 depending on industry experience
