We are a fast growing SaaS company in the healthcare industry that has created a patient management solution. We have recently received an initial round of funding and due to growth, we are looking to bring aboard an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our innovative technology team.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of creative, passionate, and exciting individuals in a fully remote role.

As an SRE, you will be a key player in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and system administration, with a particular focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our services.
  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service anomalies related to functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product and software engineering teams to define and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines for code deployment.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, trend analysis and self-healing systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, driving restoration and repair of service-impacting issues.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role or similar.
  • Strong experience with languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience working with APIs and Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker.
  • Proficiency in managing services using CloudWatch, DataDog, or similar platforms.
  • Strong experience in managing Linux based infrastructure, Ubuntu, CentOS preferred.
  • Deep understanding of CI / CD pipelines and practices.
  • Experience working in a startup environment and SaaS platform is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global team environment.
