Job Summary :

As a Family Support Navigator (FSN) with FLACRA, you will provide vital peer support services to families of individuals facing serious mental health or substance use challenges. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the FSN serves as a role model and advocate, using personal experience and coping skills to guide and empower families. The FSN supports families both in outpatient and inpatient settings, helping them navigate the complexities of recovery and access the resources they need.

Must-Have Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery, or experience supporting someone in recovery.
• Willingness to participate in peer certification training, obtaining CRPA-P certification within four months of employment.
