About The Position
Position : RN Med / Surg
Location : Twin Falls, ID
Shift : 3x12-Hours; Day and Night option available
Duration : 26 Weeks with possible extensions
Start Date : 11 / 25 / 2024
Bed Size : 36
EMR Used : Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
Experience : Min 1 years
Trauma Lever : 3
Unit Notes :
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Surgical patients with mix of Medsurg.
- Any surgical patient that would stay overnight or longer- total joints, appys, choles, simple back surgeries etc.
- Medical and cardiopulmonary- CHF, COPD, pneumonia, psych, dementia, COVID, etc. Only patients they really don't take are strokes. -
- Experience or 'Must have' skills : Must have experience with post op surgical patients.
- Must have 1 year of experience, okay with first time traveler but would like first time traveler to have more than 1 year of experience. -
- Are RNs required to titrate drips : No
- Common titratable & / or set rate drips : heparin
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift : Charge nurse and resource nurse available on unit. Plus House wide med / surg Crisis nurse.
