These are Enterprise applications that lean towards a need for rock-solid Information architecture skills with less dependence on UI glamour.
The experience designer will focuses more on problem solving, defining the experience, doing wireframes, and understanding the business.
This is a somewhat complicated enterprise app for managing promotions. There are lots of other systems and interconnectivity, so I'm looking for a UXer who has rock-solid information architecture skills rather than graphic design someone who likes to make the complicated effortless
PROJECT DESCRIPTION / JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer with deep expertise in information architecture, system thinking, and enterprise design.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive and scalable user experiences across complex systems, with the ability to see the bigger picture and ensure seamless interactions across different touchpoints.
This role requires strong experience in design sprints, facilitating design workshops, and hands-on work in Figma, leading initiatives that drive business outcomes while maintaining a user-centered approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
Enterprise Design & System Thinking : Apply system thinking to solve complex problems by understanding and designing for the entire ecosystem.
Ensure that design solutions are scalable and integrate seamlessly within enterprise systems.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align project goals, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
- Information Architecture : Develop and refine the structure of complex information systems to ensure intuitive navigation and an optimal user experience.
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and user personas to holistically visualize and communicate the service experience.
- Design Sprints : Lead and facilitate design sprints to rapidly prototype and test ideas, iterating based on feedback to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Design Workshops : Plan and conduct design workshops with cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and collective input into the design process.
- Figma Expertise : Use Figma to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final high-fidelity designs, contributing to a shared design system and ensuring product consistency.
- Collaborative Problem Solving : Work closely with researchers, product managers, and developers to define and address user challenges, aligning design outcomes with strategic business objectives.
- Promotion Campaign Integration (Plus) : Experience integrating design into promotion campaign engines is a plus.
MUST HAVE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Tactful soft skills and being an active listener are a must. The ability to not only formulate, but also articulate, solutions that can be understood by all partner teams is also paramount to this role.
You may be a single individual contributor, but you have the right experience and attitude to lead and execute end-to-end design projects within the expected project timelines.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Online portfolio demonstrating your recent work experience with case studies illustrating the user-centered design process.
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Abstract, and InVision.
- Familiarity with marketing promotions and campaign engines
- Experience designing customer loyalty programs.
- Strong knowledge of UX research methods and ability to incorporate user insights into the design process
- A background in responsive and adaptive design for enterprise web and mobile platform
- Previous experience working on e-commerce apps and websites.
- Advanced knowledge of responsive design and familiarity with related development techniques
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to execute multiple projects with concurrent timelines
- Understanding of agile methodologies and how UX integrates into the agile / scrum process
- Experience organizing or participating in design workshops
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
