Shifts : 12 hrs, 7p-7a Unit : L&D, Well-Baby Nursery, Postpartum, combined to form one unit # beds : 10 beds Certs : BLS, NRP, advanced fetal monitoring, NCC certified inpatient OB (RNC-OB) ADV FHM Ratios : L&D is usually 1 to 1-2, follow AWHONN guidelines, postpartum is 1 to 4 couplet care EMR : Cerner, Fetal heart monitor is fetal link Required Certifications

ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
