The Area Mech Mechanical is responsible for routine and corrective maintenance in a variety of aspects within the mechanical trade at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts.
The Area Mech Mechanical is proficient with tools of the trade and equipment. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $23.76 per hour.

Basic Qualifications :
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Four years’ minimum experience working on small engines and automotive electronics
- Experience performing regularly scheduled maintenance on various tractors, backhoes, loaders and golf carts or lawn equipment;
Club Car, Cushman, Yamaha, Noland, Mitsubishi, Daihatsu, Gem Car and Taylor Dunn
- Knowledge of light metal fabrication, hydraulic and pneumatic controls
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
