Asset Management Associate

Job Description

Our client is in need of an experienced Asset Management Associate to join their team on-site in Miami, Florida . This role involves managing the performance of a diverse real estate portfolio, including leasing activities, tenant relations, financial oversight, strategic planning, and asset enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, expenses, occupancy, leasing, and capital projects
• Partner with property management teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and budget expectations
• Review monthly financial statements, conduct variance analyses, and propose corrective measures
• Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and evaluate return on investment (ROI)
• Support the development and execution of annual operating budgets
• Collaborate across departments including acquisitions, accounting, investor relations, and executive leadership
• Prepare and deliver asset performance reports to internal stakeholders and investors
• Coordinate lender and investor approvals for various business initiatives
• Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed
• Ensure ongoing loan compliance and manage lender reporting requirements
• Identify portfolio risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for value creation
• Contribute to strategic portfolio planning, including hold / sell decisions and disposition strategies
