A , Data Science, or closely related field is required. ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates must be professionally active, have demonstrable teaching potential and a commitment to mentoring undergraduate and graduate students through teaching and research.

Mentoring undergraduate or graduate research in your area of technical specialty is valued. Candidates with specialties in info / data visualization , UX / HCI , or data science are especially encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will teach core areas of computer science, data science, information systems, information technology, or cybersecurity.
Typically involves a 3-3 teaching load with scholarship options. Engagement in research and collaboration with students and affiliated faculty or industry partners is desired.

The School of Computing offers ABET accredited undergraduate programs, several minors, and master's degrees. Grand Valley has over 22,000 students.
The School has over 50 full-time faculty, approximately 1,000 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students. We focus on experiential learning with opportunities for faculty-industry collaboration via our Applied Computing Institute, and the Institute for Applied Cybersecurity.
