School Psychologist
AB Staffing is looking for an experienced School Psychologist that is available for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
Requirements :
- Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
- WA State Certification and / or Licensure in school psychology.
- Knowledge of state and federal legislation for disabilities (WAC 392-171, IDEA 2004, Section 504 etc.) a plus.
- Experience working with preschool and school-aged populations is preferred.
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids;
- hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone;
and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and / or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Essential Functions :
- Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in the school setting.
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students as eligible for and in need of special education services.
Salary :
- Starting at $60 / hr.
- 1099 Contract
