Job Description

Frontera Health is developing a tech-enabled platform to provide pediatric therapies for rural families in need. Our platform leverages AI / ML to establish the foundational video-based data model for early intervention and developmental disorders.

By working with parents and caregivers in rural communities, we aim to increase access to care, improve health equity, and deliver personalized treatment for better outcomes.

Frontera is led by a world-class leadership team, well capitalized and backed by premier investors (Lightspeed and Lux), and already have 500+ clients eagerly awaiting our services.

As Frontera continues to scale, we will continue to expand services and product offerings to better serve the families and providers in our communities.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping others?

Join Frontera Health's Autism Program as a Scheduling Coordinator and play a vital role in connecting children with the services they need.

In this role, you'll also be a champion for minimizing appointment disruptions, ensuring timely access to care.

What You'll Do :

  • Be the first point of contact for families seeking autism evaluations, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate appointments efficiently, ensuring timely access to care for children with suspected autism. Proactively minimize cancellations by rescheduling appointments when necessary and finding coverage for clinicians.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to create a smooth scheduling experience for both families and providers.
  • Work closely with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and ensure coverage for evaluations.
  • Utilize your organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage scheduling systems.
  • Communicate effectively with families to understand their time off and rescheduling needs, offering alternative appointment options when possible.
  • Contribute to a team environment dedicated to providing high-quality care for children with autism.

Why You'll Love Working Here :

  • Make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
  • Gain valuable experience in a growing healthcare field.
  • Be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with families, staff, and insurance providers.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling and database management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
