Highly successful and well-known Indiana company is looking for a General Manager.
The GM will be responsible for process improvements within the organization, including improving procedures for increased efficiencies, identifying and ensuring proper execution of company goals, facilitating training and identifying areas for increased sales opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor sales and profitability, aligning resources for growth and sales targets.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for company-wide improvement.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership on sales programs and promotions.
- Evaluate success of sales activities, programs, and promotions.
- Provide overall leadership to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Resolve business and workforce issues as they arise.
- Guide labor efficiencies, conflict resolution, and workforce development.
- Develop strategic direction for growth and operational flexibility.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a related business field and / or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in a role with progressive responsibilities both in sales and operations with responsibility for P&L results.
- Strong knowledge of construction and / or service industry preferred.
- Prior experience in business planning.
- Proven leadership abilities in a management role with direct report at multiple levels.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrated team player who can lead and facilitate a team to produce results while maintaining positive working and customer relations.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptative and manage through business changes with a positive attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
