This role supports airborne platforms across multiple programs, including the Domestic and International UH / HH-60 Black Hawk cockpit. Teamwork and direct interaction with the end customer (presentations, technical exchanges, onsite support) are essential.

What You Will Do
- Verify software requirements by creating and running functional tests in a laboratory environment using simulations and interfacing subsystems.
- Assist in other system engineering activities including requirements analysis and capture, system / sub-system design, software requirements definition, integration, and formal test for requirement verification.
- Collaborate with other systems and software engineers using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
- Travel approximately 15-25% as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.Must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation.Project management experience.Experience with Collins' Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) architecture.Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with SVN, DOORS, Python, and / or Atlassian tools.Knowledge of CMMI or DO-178 derived processes.Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering practices.Knowledge of flight displays, communication / navigation radio controls, flight management systems, weapons / mission equipment, human factors / human-machine interface.Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP / IP, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429 data protocols.Professional communication and teamwork skills.Experience Exceling in a collaborative team environment.What We Offer

Salary range : 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The offer will reflect experience, location, education, and key skills.
