Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings) :
Manager.Information Security
Perform Akamai network technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews. Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Advocate for security and secure practices throughout Akamai. Conduct research to identify new attack vectors against Akamai networks, products, and services.
Implement automation of vulnerability scanning and detection using scripting / programming languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
Build and deploy automation for monitoring our infrastructure, application, and network. Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.
Manage work of security engineers. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the United States. AG0775

Required Qualification :
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Security Engineering, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
Must have one (1) year of experience in the following skills : JUnit, Jira, Java, AngularJS, MS-SQL, and windows / ubuntu.
Compensation :
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $123989-$193746 / year;
a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
