Summary : Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize manufacturing processes and support complex technical studies.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, planning, or related technical field.
Proven knowledge of Lean and / or Six Sigma principles.
Proficiency with CADAM, CATIA, Solumina, SAP, Corridor.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Concepts : 5S, JIT, SMED, KanBan, VSM, One Piece Flow.
Preferred Skills :
Working knowledge of Six-Sigma or similar data-driven decision making.
Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities :
Perform and analyze complex technical studies of operations.
Prepare detailed reports recommending equipment and manufacturing methods.
Author work instructions to optimize efficiency and minimize defects.
Develop rework instructions for corrective actions.
Create MBOM in relevant software to ensure part installation compliance.
Generate make-or-buy proposals and evaluate vendors.
Conduct research to ensure project conformance to requirements.
Assist in preparing justifications for equipment and facility requests.
Apply statistical methods for future manufacturing requirements estimation.
Incorporate Lean Manufacturing Methodology into processes.
Present business cases for process improvements to management.
Assume duties of ME Group Head in their absence; assign / review subordinate work.
Pay Details : $32.00 to $43.00 per hour
