and ensuring that tools and materials are available while working at locations.

  • Diagnoses causes of problems and / or failures in heating / air conditioning systems, cooking, and other store equipment for the purpose of identifying equipment and / or systems repair and / or replacement needs.

Areas of Responsibility to Include (but not limited to) :

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance services requests as assigned.
  • Diagnoses causes of problems and / or failures in heating / air conditioning systems, cooking, and other store equipment for the purpose of identifying equipment and / or systems repair and / or replacement needs.
  • Fabricates equipment parts for the purpose of meeting specialty needs and / or replacing unavailable parts.
  • Informs personnel regarding procedures and / or status of work orders for the purposes of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and / or complying with building and safety regulations.
  • Inspects HVAC and cooler systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.

for the purpose of evaluation condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventative maintenance.

  • Installs heating and air conditioning equipment for the purpose of providing enhanced and / or upgraded capabilities.
  • Maintains vehicle, tools, and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition.
  • Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars as assigned for the purpose of conveying and / or gathering information required to perform job functions.
  • Performs routine and preventative maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of all store equipment.
  • Prepare written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and / or conveying information.
  • Repairs heating, air conditioning, coolers, stoves, ovens, steam tables, and other systems and / or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.

for the purposes of ensuring a comfortable and safe work environment.

  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintain inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and / or repair.
  • Responsible for minor plumbing stores.
  • Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the job site.
  • Work within expense limits established.
  • Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
  • Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program .
  • Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
  • Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain all locations as assigned.
  • Responsible for alerting the stores Area Manager of any unusual occurrence and / or damage that has taken place or that may occur.
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
  • Follow established company policies and those outline in Employee Handbook.
  • This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and or 10 / 20 pounds of force constantly.
