Position Summary : At the core of the Telly business model are both ads and data. We believe in providing a transparent and powerful value exchange between our Telly consumers and our advertisers.

It’s key for us to transparently and responsibly use data to provide the most impactful and relevant consumer experience and deliver value to advertisers.

We are seeking an individual with broad-ranging expertise in Ads & Data Product Management with several years of experience working at a major digital publisher or media company, an adtech service provider, or a digital agency focused on programmatic.

It’s essential that you understand the technical inner workings of the digital advertising ecosystem and how data is used to drive advertiser value.

In this role, you will help to drive the strategy for how to best leverage the Telly platform to drive a great experience for consumers while also bringing the most value to advertisers.

It is critical to understand what and how agencies and brands want to buy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including ad engineering, ad operations, partnerships / sales, privacy and marketing teams to develop ad-tech and data product roadmaps.
  • Conceive, create, monetize, and measure new digital advertising and data opportunities.
  • Create product requirements documents and functional specifications for both ad and data products, evolving and enhancing existing products in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
  • Represent the voice of our commercial team, clients and external advertising and data partners in product roadmap discussions, while balancing other product needs and priorities in discussions with commercial teams, clients and external partners.
  • Manage product delivery and business expectations, from inception to implementation and beyond.
  • Clearly communicate complex and detailed information in actionable ways for senior leadership.
  • Follow, evaluate and respond to ongoing advertising industry changes.

Preferred Experience

  • Six or more years of product management experience.
  • Broad and deep technical, commercial and strategic understanding of marketing and advertising technology; including DSPs, SSPs, CSSs, ad servers, optimization models, inventory management, cleanrooms, CDPs, programmatic IDs and graphs, measurement.
  • Experience with audience measurement data, ACR, and TV measurement / analytics.
  • Fluent with marketing funnel data use cases (planning, activation, targeting, measurement, attribution and conversion) and both legacy and evolving data collaboration and identity solutions.
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with large, sometimes unstructured datasets and creating everything from reports to longer term data strategy.
  • Problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising at a content provider, display / banner, streaming video service or CTV platform is a plus.
