About The Position
Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging - Ultrasound Technologist (General ab / ob small parts, Echo Technologist) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM;
Call requires arrival within 30 minutes from notification; Call schedule : 2 overnight shifts Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 3 years of recent adult echocardiogram sonography License : Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have : - Recent experience with Phillips equipment and EPIC EMR- Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is strongly preferred Job Description : Responsible for conducting diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Provide cardiologists with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures to aid in diagnosis.- Deliver immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians for life-saving treatment interventions.
- Assist physicians during studies and contribute to complex procedures to minimize procedural risks.- Involvement in operational rooms, Cath labs, and CAD, including TEE and pseudoaneurysm compression.
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires adhering to safety and health standards.Note : The candidate must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility.
Holiday coverage is not required.
