Job Description
Are you ready to advance your career in commercial construction? PROCON, New Hampshire's leading design-build commercial construction firm, is expanding, and we want you to grow with us as our newest Project Accountant!
Responsibilities :
- Manage project budgets by processing and accounting for all billing invoices for assigned projects.
- Maintain records of the General Contractor's payment applications and invoices.
- Handle contract administrative tasks such as project folder setup, maintaining filing systems, data entry of purchase orders & change orders, and document scanning and faxing.
- Assist in project close-out procedures.
- Ensure compliance with annual master agreements, licenses, and insurance verifications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in developing budgets and standard accounting practices.
- Ability to review contract documents.
- Strong relationship-building skills with General Contractors.
- 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective communication abilities across all levels, including subcontractors, peers, Project Managers, and Vice Presidents.
- Proficient computer skills : familiarity with Timberline / Sage preferred.
