Overview : We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Cashier / Seasonal Merchandisers. In this dual role, you will provide excellent customer service at the checkout counter and assist with merchandising seasonal garden products.

Key Responsibilities : Cashier Duties :

• Customer Service : Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide information on products and services.
• Transactions : Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, credit / debit card payments, and issue receipts.
• Assistance : Assist customers with their purchases, boxing items, and providing carry-out service if needed.
• Returns and Exchanges : Process returns and exchanges efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Cleanliness : Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring it is always stocked with necessary supplies.

Seasonal Merchandiser Duties :

• Product Display : Set up and maintain attractive displays of seasonal products, such as plants, flowers, holiday decorations, and gardening supplies.
• Inventory Management : Monitor stock levels, restock shelves and assist with inventory counts.
• Plant Care : Water, prune, and care for plants to ensure they remain healthy and attractive for customers.
• Promotional Activities : Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensure that all signage and pricing are accurate.
• Customer Interaction : Provide knowledgeable advice to customers on gardening products, plant care, and seasonal items.

• Customer Service : Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Attention to Detail : Ability to maintain organized and visually appealing displays.
• Basic Math Skills : Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility : Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Skills :

• Gardening Knowledge : Basic understanding of plants and gardening products.
• Sales Experience : Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or merchandising.
• Computer Skills : Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
