- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start / stop circuits, AC / DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.
- Perform equipment installation, PMs, and complete assigned projects.
- Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
- Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
- Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
- Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
- Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in Maintenance System.
- Complete all required and applicable training required by Client.
- Must continuously improve and develop skills / knowledge.
- Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor
- Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
- Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift
Requirements
- Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (preferred)
- Ability to lift lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred)
- Journeyman’s Card -OR - - yrs of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
