Astria Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team! This position is full time with variable shits.

What you get to do every day!

As the Medical Laboratory Technician, this position p erforms assays accurately and timely on patient samples utilizing a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid the provider in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will :

  • Capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis and instrument maintenance and problem solving.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infections control standards, so the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
  • Able to recognize problems, identify the cause and make simple corrections by using preset strategies
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
  • Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

Requirements

What you bring to the role :

  • Associate's Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory / medical technology.
  • National certification from ASCP, AMT, NCA.
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position.

Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education.
