  • Pay Rate : $18 - $25 / hr
  • Shift / Hours : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM CST, Monday-Friday

Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative serves as the face of the company for patients, providing trusted, quality blood collection and specimen preparation services. This role is critical in maintaining patient confidence and ensuring sample integrity for accurate laboratory analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily activities on schedule under supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment .
  • Conduct both clinical and forensic specimen collection procedures accurately.
  • Verify and document patient demographic data and signatures post-venipuncture.
  • Maintain required records and documentation per procedures.
  • Foster a positive image with patients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Required Experience :

  • Three (3) years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Nice-to-Have Experience :

  • Two (2) years in a Patient Service Center environment.
  • Customer service in retail or healthcare settings.
  • Keyboard / data entry experience.
  • Experience with point-of-care testing.
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills , including pediatric and geriatric draws.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Superior customer focus and communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA).
  • Familiarity with clinical safety and compliance policies.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Decision-making skills and good judgment.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations on short notice.
  • Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Strong adaptability and change-resilience.
