The Roosevelt Medical Center in Culbertson MT is the place for you! We are a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic that offer long-term care, inpatient, skilled swing bed, outpatient, and ER services.
- We do not do surgery or OB. Your assessment skills and interventions help manage the multiple chronic conditions of our long term care residents;
- acute care skills are needed for intermittent patient medical admissions for pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, diabetes exacerbations, etc;
and, yes, even ER care of patients can be a part of your day. We are a state-designated trauma receiving facility so we require RNs to maintain ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Type of ER visits range from urgent care needs to multiple victim traumas, MIs, and stroke. We stabilize and transfer severely ill or injured patients to higher levels of care.
This position is meant to assist the night charge nurse in managing the hospital patients on night shifts when staff is more limited.
Additional must sign and return the Master Staffing Agreement to the facility prior to their candidate starting. Travelers must have their own mode of transportation.
We do not have public transportation. Closest public trans is 45 miles away. Winters in MT require a vehicle to get around in the snow!!! Bring winter clothes during the winter months.
