Our partnership allows AT&T to do what they do best by engineering and architecting the solution, while WWT provides the hands-on assembling and distribution of the integrated solution. Our Lab team provides top of the line support with the production and deployment of the Walk in Cabinets (WIC), Walk Up Cabinets (WUC), Integration Services, Platforms, FLX21 group, and assisting on handheld devices as well as r ecertification of smaller components, functional items, and radios .

Job Summary

Production Managers are responsible for overseeing and leading a team of supervisors and a department of indirect reports. They are accountable for meeting customer and WWT requirements. Responsibilities include leading, developing, planning, and directing staff in support of department goals and objectives. The position reports to a senior-level leader.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team with various levels of leadership & technicians ensuring all service levels are met or exceeded
  • Monitor, measure, and communicate KPI and Cost Center financial performance
  • Use data to standardize, improve, or change the process to deliver operational excellence
  • Grow direct reports on both a professional and personal level
  • Identify and develop future leaders of the organization
  • Drive appropriate level of performance expectations and business acumen to foster the success of the program
  • Control costs through productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of lab area, and purchases
  • Scale labor and meet production demands through effective scheduling and assignment of employees
  • Develop and maintain the ongoing collaborative relationship with the customers, teams, and all operational organizations

Qualifications

  • College degree (or equivalent experience) with a significant amount of progressive experience in a field of expertise, or advanced degree with a considerable amount of progressive experience
  • Listens to others, confirming understanding of the content and recognizing non-verbal cues and underlying messages.
  • Demonstrates a concern for accuracy and thoroughness so that sufficiently detailed information is logged correctly.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the processes for ordering, shipping and warehousing materials to support production and satisfy demand.
  • Continuously seeks new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster.
  • Understands and assembles products according to technical documentation requirements and can ensure quality and functional standards are met.
  • Actively controls and structures use of time to accomplish work, projects, and goals most effectively.
  • Resolves issues by diagnosing problems, determining possible resolutions, and implementing effective solutions.
