Job Type Full Time Schedule - Days Pay $250,000 Patients Per Day 18-20 EMR System - Athena Work Location Clinic / Outpatient Job ID - 60484 Job Description A Yuma based client is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent primary care services to patients from age 0 to 19 years old. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well collaboratively, values evidence-based practice, and values patient centered care. This candidate should be comfortable treating children and discussing outcomes with children and families. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current Arizona medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board certified or board eligible pediatrics Current CPR certification Responsibilities Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload Supervise NPs and PAs within Arizona regulations Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
