About Duke HomeCare& Hospice
Pursue your passion forcaring with Duke HomeCare & Hospice, which offers hospice, homehealth, and infusion services across the region, as well as servesas the home forthe Duke Caregiver Support Program.
Team memberswork closely with a patient's physician to provide comprehensive,individualized care in the comfort of their home or at ourinpatient hospice facility in Durham, NC.
TheDuke HomeCare and Hospice program serves 9 counties and a 60-mileradius, and our Home Infusion Program offers multi-state coverage(NC, SC, VA).

- As an Infusion Coordinatorwith Duke University Health System, you will make providing serviceyour priority.
- The Infusion Coordinator RN willcollaborate with a multidisciplinary team in order organizeseamless care in the home for those patients being discharged fromthe hospital with infusion needs.
- Utilizingthe nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing andevaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursingdepartment.
- Plan and provide advanced and / orspecialized nursing care for patients in guided by DUHSProfessional Practice model participate in the clinical ladderprogram, educational activities, departmental committees, researchprojects or other health related projects asassigned.
- Provide nursing services to patientsand families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined bythe North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Adheres toall rules and regulations of all applicable local, state andfederal agencies and accreditingbodies.
- Actively participates in outstandingcustomer service and accepts responsibility in maintainingrelationships that are equally respectful toall.
Knowledge, Skills, Education,and Experience Required :
- Previous workexperience of 2 yrs + as a clinical nurse is preferred; at leastone-year of previous work experience as a registered nurse isrequired for a CSN II role.
- Associate Degree orDiploma, Nursing required
- RegisteredNurses are not required but encouraged to enroll in a DUHS approvedBSN program after completing two years of service of their startdate.
Licensure,Certification or RegistrationRequired :
- Currentregistration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as aregistered professional nurse, current compact RN licensure topractice in the state of North Carolina or current compact licensewith participating staterequired.
- BLS (or higher)certification required.
